The IRMA research governance and compliance solution is soon to be extended to include cover sanctions and export controls. The sanctions and export controls solution will provide a solution for an institution to meets it's obligations under the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012. The sanctions and export control solution will leverage a number of the proven IRMA features such as online forms, programmable questionnaires, integrated workflow document management, reporting and cross module integration.
The sanctions and export controls solution will specifically provide:
- configurable online disclosure forms and questionnaires for the lodgement of export control applications
- reference to the Defence and Strategic Goods List (DGSL)
- full integration with all other modules, including projects, grants, ethics and HDR
- integration to client configurable risk identification rules
- status driven conflicts to enable an online history of historical export control assessments
- individual register of export control applications and assessments available for all researchers
- committee and meeting tools for managing a sanctions and export controls meeting process
- registration of sanctioned persons and sanctioned services
